About Me
Born and raised in Collingwood, Ontario. My love for photography started very young. My mother would capture photographs of my sister and I all the time. I felt like I was always in front of the camera, but at the same time I loved it. As I have grown up I have learned how truly special a photo can be. Through a photograph you can capture a moment or memory and alter life by holding those moments still. Looking at a photograph can transport you back to the exact moment, to the time, place, smell, and feel. As a photographer I have the ability to give those in front of my lens the gift of traveling back in time to all those special moments.
I love everything about being a photographer. The interaction with clients, the creative process of executing both my clients visions and ideas of my own, the editing process of going through selecting the images and bringing what we captured together to life, and then ultimately creating the gallery of images.
While I truly do love it all, I think my favourite thing is sending the galleries off to my clients for them to have, download and enjoy for years to come.
I’m also a CrossFit Coach at CrossFit Indestri, where I coach the Kids and Pre-Teen/Teen programs. I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost 13 years now, and it’s been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I was always active, whether it was playing sports in the community or on school teams, but CrossFit is what really stuck with me. It boosted my confidence, made me feel strong, and most of all, I’ve always loved being part of the community.
